UPDATING A SPECIFICATION SUBCATEGORY IN A SPECIFICATIONS CATALOG

 

Note: Only Specification Subcategories that are not used in any contract may be updated. The Specification Subcategory Name and Description will be displayed in read-only format on the View Specification Subcategory page if a Specification Subcategory is being used on a contract and the Specifications Manager attempts to update it.

The Specifications Manager may still add comments for this Specification Subcategory. In this case, the Specifications Manager may enter comments in the provided text box and click the Add Comments button.

1.   Hover your mouse over the Administration link on the menu bar.

2.   Click the Manage Specifications sub-link from the menu bar.

3.   Select a Specification Catalog from the provided drop-down menu.

4.   Select a Specification Type from the provided drop-down menu.

5.   Click the View/Edit Specification Type button.

6.   Select a Specification Subcategory from the provided list or click the (+) associated with a subcategory to expand the list.

7.   Click the Edit button.

8.   Edit the appropriate fields in the provided text box(s).

9.   Click the Save button.

10.  Click the Back to Manage Specifications link to return to the Manage Specifications page.
