MERGING A CONTRACTOR’S PROFILE

Prerequisite(s): The System Administrator must have created a profile for each contractor company.

The contractor’s company profile must be active in the system.

 

1.   Hover your mouse over the Administration link on the menu bar.

2.   Click the Manage Contractors sub-link from the menu bar.

3.   A list of all contractors in the system appears.

4.   Click the Merge link associated with the contractor whose profile you wish to be the “master” profile.  Other contractor profiles will be merged into this profile.

5.   Check to the box associated with the contractor profile(s) that you wish to merge into the master profile listed at the top of the page.

6.   Click the Merge Selected Contractor’s button.

7.   Before completing the merge, you must review and ensure the appropriate values are selected for the new merged contractor profile.  If the merging profiles contain conflicting values from the master profile, those values are displayed here.

8.   Edit the Contractor Legal Name field if necessary and select the appropriate values on all displayed fields.

9.   Click the Merge Contractors button at either the top or bottom of the page.
